How to Choose Your Signature Scent

A signature scent is less about the bottle and more about how a fragrance settles on your skin over a full day. Start by identifying the family you gravitate towards: florals, orientals and ouds, woods, or fresh citrus.
Spray a single fragrance on the inside of your wrist and leave it alone. The opening notes fade within fifteen minutes; what remains after four hours is the scent people will associate with you.
Egypt's warm climate amplifies heavy oriental compositions, so a lighter concentration in summer and a richer oud in winter often works better than one bottle all year.
